Something not working?

A person reads every message. First reply is normally within 1–2 business days.

Write to us support@blossomvpn.online

Tell us your iOS version, your device model, the app version, and — if the connection is the problem — which location you were using and what kind of network you were on. That usually saves a whole round of questions.

Connection

Connection problems.

The VPN won't connect at all.

Work through these in order. Toggle the connection off and back on. Try a different location, since an individual server can be out for maintenance. Switch network — from Wi-Fi to mobile data or the other way — because some networks and hotel or airport portals block VPN protocols outright. Check that the VPN configuration still exists in Settings → General → VPN & Device Management. Then restart the device. If none of that helps, write to us and mention which steps you already tried.

It connects, but pages don't load.

Usually the network you are on is filtering the tunnel, or the particular server is having trouble. Try another location first, then a different network. If it works on mobile data but not on a specific Wi-Fi, the restriction is on that Wi-Fi rather than in the app.

Which location should I choose?

For speed, the one closest to you, or Optimal Location, which picks the nearest available server automatically. Choose a specific country only when you actually need to appear to be there.

The connection feels slow.

Some slowdown is unavoidable, since traffic is encrypted and travels further than it otherwise would. A closer location usually helps most. Worth testing your speed with the VPN off first, so you know what you are comparing against.

It disconnects on its own.

Most often this is iOS Low Power Mode or an aggressive battery setting suspending the connection in the background. Turn Low Power Mode off and see whether it recurs. Weak signal and switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data also cause reconnects.

My IP address hasn't changed.

Check that the VPN badge is showing in the iOS status bar — if it isn't, the tunnel is not up. Some sites cache your previous location, so try a fresh page or a different site. The app shows the address you appear from, which is the quickest way to confirm.

Can I remove the VPN configuration?

Yes, whenever you like: Settings → General → VPN & Device Management → the VPN Protectify profile → Delete. The app will ask permission to add it again next time you connect.

Leak check

The email leak check.

What does the check actually tell me?

Whether the address you entered appears in known data-breach records. The lookup is performed by Have I Been Pwned, an independent breach-notification service. A match means that address has turned up in a breach at some point — not that any account is compromised right now. No match means it does not appear in the records available to the check, which is not the same as never having been exposed.

What happens to the address I type in?

It is sent to Have I Been Pwned to run that one check and nothing else — no marketing, no mailing list, and no connection to your VPN use, since connecting requires no account. Section 6 of the Privacy Policy sets this out in full.

My address turned up in a breach. Now what?

Change the password on that account and anywhere you reused it, and turn on two-factor authentication where it is offered. A password manager makes both of those considerably easier. There is nothing we can do to remove an address from a breach that has already happened.

Do I have to use it?

No. It is entirely optional and the VPN works without ever touching it.

Billing

Subscriptions.

How do I cancel?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not by us. Open the Settings app → tap your name at the top → Subscriptions → VPN Protectify → Cancel Subscription. Cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends to avoid the next charge. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

How do I cancel before a free trial ends?

The same way. You keep access until the trial period finishes, and you will not be charged provided you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.

I didn't get a free trial.

Trial eligibility is determined by Apple, and a trial is generally available only once per subscription group. If you have taken one before on the same Apple Account — including on a different plan — a further trial will not be offered, and the subscription starts as a paid one.

I paid but the app still shows the free version.

Tap Restore in the app. Check that the device is signed into the same Apple Account used for the purchase. If it still does not unlock, email us with your App Store order ID, which is in the receipt Apple sent you.

How do I get a refund?

Refunds are handled entirely by Apple. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple Account, find the purchase and choose the appropriate option. We cannot issue refunds ourselves — but tell us what went wrong, because if it is a bug we would rather fix it.

I changed device. Do I need to buy again?

No. Sign in to the new device with the same Apple Account, install the app and tap Restore.

Privacy

Privacy and data.

Do you keep logs of what I do online?

No. Not the sites you reach, not your DNS lookups, not the contents of your traffic, and no session records tied to an identity. The Privacy Policy states this specifically rather than as a slogan, and section 5 lists in full the technical data the app does report.

Why is no account needed?

Because it isn't. Access is verified against the App Store purchase on your device, so there is no email address, no password and no profile — which also means there is nothing of that kind to leak.

I want my data deleted.

Most of what you might expect us to hold does not exist. For the diagnostic and subscription records that do, write to privacy@blossomvpn.online. Your App Store order ID is usually the only reference that can locate anything, precisely because there are no accounts. See your rights.
